This is my latest finished piece. It was mainly done in Krita 4 with resizing and framing finished in Twisted Brush Pro Studio 24.06.

YouTube free digital art tutorials

There are some very good art tutorials on YouTube. My favorite by far is Daniel Sherekin who goes by borodante. He has a YouTube channel called Boro Drawing. He is a very good artist, an excellent teacher and is quite intellegent about everything to do with digital painting. He has a great sense of humor that keeps his videos moving. In a fairly short time following him I have learned a lot. I’m not sure how many videos he’s done. Probably hundreds. Check the link to his channel below.

Twisted Brush Pro Sudio

Pixarra has a very powerful and often overlooked raster graphics application for PCs called Twisted Prush Pro Sudio now on version 24.06. I’ve used it nearly exclusively for the last 9 years although I have other apps. Twisted Brush has most of the expected features in a modern art app plus some unique features, such as a built-in page manager/library that enables saving your work as workbook pages. I am a fan of brushes. Twisted Brush comes with over 9000 brushes and a brush editor to make more. TB sellls for about $100 and they sometimes have promos. You can download a demo that’s fully functional.
